Extended Abstract is required only to authors of accepted abstracts. Extended Abstract should be submitted before May 31, 2005. Submitted Extended Abstract will be published as the conference proceeding in CD form.

You will not be able to cancel the abstract you already submitted online. Please be considerate before you enter the number of abstract(s). If cancellation of abstract(s) is necessary, please contact the Secretariat by e-mail for assistance.

Can I submit an abstract without registration? |
 |
Yes. You can submit an abstract without registration. However, without registration and payment of the registration fees until May 31, 2005, authors cannot be scheduled in the scientific program and will not appear in the abstract book.

How do I officially register? |
 |
Registration, payment, and hotel reservations for The 13th International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES13) can be made thorough this website, by postal mail, fax, or e-mail.
In order to register, pay, or make reservations via this website, it is first necessary to access online registration. Then, the necessary personal data must be entered to get your ID. After completing to fill out personal date, you can proceed to register, pay or make reservation.

What is included in the Registration Fee for regular participant? |
 |
Registration fee includes admission to all Scientific Sessions, Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception, Gala Night, Industry Tour, and Exhibition.

Who is allowed to register as an accompanying person? |
 |
An accompanying person is defined as a spouse or family member of a person who has registered for the entire conference. Accompanying persons are entitled to enter Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception, Gala Night, Industry Tour, and Exhibition. They are not allowed into any of the sessions.

After registration, how can I make changes to my registration information? |
 |
Changes can be made online at (http://icwes.nersys.co.kr/login.php) until July 31, 2005. However, please be reminded that changes in accompanying person(s)'s number and excursion reservation information are only available in writing to the ICWES13 Secretariat upon proceeding payment.

What methods of payment are accepted? |
 |
All payment must be made in Korean Won by bank transfer or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or AMEX). For other forms of payment, please contact the ICWES13 Secretariat.

 |
A written Confirmation and official receipt of your registration will be sent to you by e-mail, once your payment has been received. For any questions, please contact the ICWES13 Secretariat.

Can I cancel or make changes to my registration after I have paid? |
 |
Yes. Notification of cancellation must be received in writing to the ICWES13 Secretariat by e-mail or fax. Only cancellations made in writing are acceptable. A 60% refund will apply before or on July 31, 2005. After July 31, 2005, there will be no refund. Furthermore, all service charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

For administrative reasons, all refunds will be made after the conference.

Is there difference in room rate between single and double/twin room type? |
 |
(Dormitory) The room rate for both Single and Twin room type in dormitory is the same. However, if you share a room with another person, then, each will have to pay half of the twin room rate. If you wish to share a room with someone, please indicate it on the reservation form.
(Lotte Hotel Seoul) Lottel Hotel Seoul offers KRW 160,000 for single occupancy and KRW 180,000 for double occupancy. Likewise, each will have to pay half of the double occupancy room rate, if sharing the room.

How to book accommodation? |
 |
We have reserved a sufficient number of rooms for conference participants at special discount rates. Those persons who wish to apply for Hotel/Tour reservation are requested to complete the Application Form, and sent it no later than May 31, 2005 with the accommodation deposit.
Hotel assignment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is Accommodation Deposit? |
 |
Accommodation Deposit is equal to one night's room rate, which is required to secure your reservation. A confirmation/voucher will be sent to you once your registration form and payment are received.

When and where do I pay the rest of my accommodation fee? |
 |
Balance payment has to be made directly at the hotel upon check-out. Please present the voucher to the hotel when checking-in. The hotel will issue an invoice in the amount of the total payment.

Can I make accommodation reservation before registration? |
 |
No. Accommodation reservation is available only for person who has registered in advance.

What are the dates for the tour? |
 |
Information regarding tour programs is to be announced.

Who is invited to participate in the Industry Tour? |
 |
Regular participants and accompanying persons are all welcome to participate in the Industry Tour for free of charge. The Industry tours will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I participate in all Industry Tours? |
 |
No, you have to choose only one option for the Industry Tour. The Industry Tours are all held at the same time.

No, only participants and accompanying persons who have duly paid the registration fee can participate in the Industry Tour.

I forgot to make reservations for the Industry Tour while registering for the conference. How can I make reservations after registration? |

Please contact the ICWES13 Secretariat to make reservations after submitting your registration form. However, please be reminded that the number of participants per tour is limited, and tour reservations are made on a first -come, first-served basis.

How to book the Tour program? |
 |
We have offered a variety of tours for ICWES13 participants. Every tour will be arranged only if a minimum number of participants sign up. According to your schedule, you can select the tour program and reserve it through online reservation or complete the Application Form by sending it no later than May 31, 2005, with the tour deposit by postal mail, fax, or E-mail.

All tour fees must be paid when applying or guaranteed by card information or by bank transfer. All tour fees will be settled when the tour start.

The priority of booth allocation goes to major sponsors and among them, booth allocation will be made by "first come and first served basis".

How can I apply for the exhibition? |
 |
Fill out the application form and fax it to ICWES13 Secretariat enclosing a copy of remittance of 50% deposit of the application fee and a copy of your company certificate. When can I see the Exhibition Booth Layout? |

Basically the exhibition venue is POSCO Hall in Ehwa Womans University. And booth layout will be announced on the website www.icwes13.org.

How do you complete Booth Allocation? |
 |
Major sponsors of ICWES13 are given first priority, and other exhibitors, the booth allocation will be made on "first come, first served basis". However, the final allocation will be decided by the organizing committee for an efficient exhibition.

How can I check the processing statues after submitting the application form? |
 |
Once you complete the payment, we send a confirmation letter which tells your booth allocation and other details.
