The conference expects to have great participation with special sessions on mentorship and leadership and other informative technical sessions. Notably, Vice President Irene Aegerter of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, also a Member of the Federal Commission on Nuclear Safety and Dr. Rita Colwell of the University of Maryland, the Former Director of National Science Foundation (NFS), are but a few of the many prominent women scientists who will be attending the ICWES13.
